The Issuer day on KASE, dedicated to operations of BAST JSC in the II quarter of 2017

On August 10, 2017 KASE held the "Issuer Day" dedicated to BAST JSC. The first vice-president of BAST JSC Rustem Ospanov announced the financial and operational results of the company's activities in the II quarter of 2017, as well as commented on plans of further development.

In July 2017, the expansion of the processing plant was completed and the operation of a flotation plant with a production capacity of up to 400 thousand tons of ore per year was launched.

The company plans to begin designing an increase in production capacity to 1.4 million tons of ore per year with the completion of construction in 2019. At the same time, in September 2017, the reserves are supposed to be recalculated in accordance with the requirements of the international standard for reporting on reserves JORC (Joint Ore Reserves Committee) in order to increase the value of the company.

The purpose of the "Issuer's Day" is to increase investors' interest in the issuer and establish feedback with shareholders.

Similar events are held on an ongoing basis for all KASE issuers whose securities are liquid and, accordingly, for which investors may have questions.
