Doors Open Day of Kazakhstan's stock market

On May 19, 2012 KASE conducted a "Doors Open Day of Kazakhstan's stock market" within the scope of its activities aimed at drafting retail investors to Kazakhstan's market
The event was organized in the form of a one-day training program consisting of a series of educational blitz-seminars on the subject of Kazakhstan's stock market for potential and existing retail investors.
The event's organizer is JSC "Kazakhstan Stock Exchange" (KASE) with an active support from JSC "ASYL-INVEST", JSC "NOMAD FINANCE", JSC "Academy of the Regional Financial Center of Almaty". The event took place in the new building of KIMEP University in Almaty and was free for all participants. Around 300 people attended the seminars.
The event provided space for booths of Kazakhstan's market's professional participants; presentations and lectures on exchange trading in financial instruments in Kazakhstan, as well as workshops on practical investing were conducted.
According to participants, the event aroused great interest and turned out to be useful in practical terms.
