/KASE, December 23, 2022/ – Following a decision of the Management Board of
Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE), from January 5, 2023, trading in quarterly
non-deliverable futures for common shares of Halyk Savings Bank of Kazakhstan
JSC, common shares of NAC "Kazatomprom" JSC, KASE Index, the exchange rate of
the US dollar against the tenge and the exchange rate of the Russian ruble
against the tenge opens on KASE.
According to the specifications of these futures:
- trades in futures contracts are opened for four terms of circulation;
- at the end of the circulation of the futures contract with the nearest
maturity, trades are opened with the farthest maturity of such a contract;
- the day of commencement of circulation of futures contracts is the fifth day
of the month falling at the beginning of the quarter: January, April, July and
October;
- the last trading day for futures contracts is the third Thursday of the month
that falls at the end of the quarter: March, June, September and December
(if the third Thursday of the month falling at the end of the quarter falls at
a holiday or weekend, the last trading day is the last trading day preceding
the third Thursday of that month).
In this regard, from the specified date trading on KASE in all futures contracts
that are currently traded in the SPECTRA trading and clearing system will be
terminated.
Thus, from January 5, 2023, trading in the following futures contracts will be
available on KASE:

From January 5, 2023, the respective amendments to the internal documents of
KASE come into effect :
- changes and addition No. 2 to the Specification of the futures for the foreign
exchange against tenge rate;
- changes and addition No. 1 to the Specification of the futures for shares of
Kazakh issuers;
- changes and addition No. 1 to the Specification of the futures on KASE Index.
KASE reminds you that at present trades in derivative financial instruments are
held on KASE on business days from 10:00 to 17:30 Astana time, the clearing
session for these trades is from 20:30 to 21:00 Astana time.
Clearing participants of KASE's derivatives market, the list of which is
published on KASE website at
http://kase.kz/en/clearing/members/, can
participate in exchange trades in derivative financial instruments.
