Halyk bank of Kazakhstan has presented "electronic turn" system

/Kazakhstan today, February 16, 04/ - Today, on February 16 in Almaty Halyk bank of Kazakhstan presented a new type of clients service - the "electronic turn" system. As the director of retail sales department of Halyk bank Vitaliy Pemzov informed during interview to a correspondent of KZ-today, "the system of "electronic turn" lets regulate the process of clients servicing through automatic registration taking into account inquiry on a concrete banking operation, i.e. lets get rid of live queue". Pemzov explained that in the main hall controllers-cashiers will accept payments for public utilities and tax payments, give pensions, benefits and other cash- settlement operations. Client should choose a necessary banking operation, push the key, and after that machine will give the stub with number of turn. Comfortable chairs have been provided for clients while waiting for their turn. When a client is called the major indicator will show number of client's stub and operating window of cash-desk, which the client should go to. At the same time manager received information concerning the type of client's operation that lets him prepare necessary software. In Pemzov's opinion, "while introducing the new system of "electronic turn" quality of service will significantly improve as well as speed of making of operation. Advantage of the new system is also confidentiality of banking services rendering". Equipment of "electronic turn" system was supplied by Sweden company "Nemo Q". Major machine is dispenser equipped with six keys, on which such banking operations as, registration of credit, plastic cards registration, term deposit, currency exchange, receiving of cash from plastic cards, credit repayment and other operations (pension, public utilities, taxes) are indicated. According to Pemzov's words, "cost of this equipment and its setting was 17 th. euro. Now this is a pre-production model. In the mid-term outlook we intend to equip all big cash-settlement offices in Almaty and Astana with such the system". [2004-02-16]
