Alliance Bank JSC signed a $46 m. agreement with Bankgesellschaft Berlin AG

/KASE, April 4, 06/ - Alliance Bank JSC (Almaty) today spread press-release saying: Quotation start On March 23 of 2006 Alliance Bank JSC signed an agreement with Bankgesellschaft Berlin AG about a syndicated loan (Schuldschein) - in the amount of USD46 m., for the term of 2 years and with 1.85% margin - according to German legislation. 17 investors participated in the deal, which was registries a subsidiary company ALB Finance B.V. (Netherlands). The borrowed funds will be spent for financing general corporate needs of the Bank. Alliance Bank JSC is the second bank of Kazakhstan, which has borrowed a loan on Schuldschein market. As of March 1 of 2006 Alliance Bank JSC takes the sixth place among Kazakhstan banks by the size of assets, which totaled KZT345. 4 bn. (USD2.5 bn.), and the fourth place by the volume of capital, which reached KZT32.1 bn. (USD245 m.)
