/INTERFAX-KAZAKHSTAN, Astana, March 14, 06/ - Average monthly
nominal salary of one employee in Kazakhstanе in January of 2006 totaled
KZT36131 (current 129/$1), having grown in comparison with similar month
of 2005 by 27%, and in real expression - by 17.9%.
Statistics agency says in its message spread on Tuesday that in January of
this year salary grew in all types of activities. Salary of agricultural
workers grew, compared to January of 2005, by 33%, in financial structures -
by 30.6%, building - by 27.8%, real estate operations sphere - by 27%.
The message says in January of 2006 average salary of financial sphere
workers exceeded average republican level 2.4 times (KZT87804), mineral
resource industry - 1.8 times (KZT63322), transport and communication -
1.4 times (KZT49315), hotel-restaurant business - 1.2 times (KZT44302).
Average salary of state management employees in January of 2006 totaled
KZT34323 and in comparison with January of 2005 grew by 34.5%,
education - KZT23214 (by 31% correspondingly), public health - KZT20455
(by 31.7%).
The lowest salary is in agriculture - KZT14309, that is 2.5 times less than
in the average in the country.
Statisticians mark the considerable differentiation of salary depending on
the region.
Average salary in western oil-beraing regions exceeded 1.6-1.9 times
average salary.
The lowest average salary in January of 2006 was in North-Kazakhstan
oblast - KZT24732.
