IFC may buy 10% of Bank CenterCredit (Kazakhstan) for $20 m.

/Almaty bureau REUTERS, February 24, 06/ - Kazakhstan bank
CenterCredit may this year sell International financial corporation (IFC) from
group of World bank 10% shares owing to new emission, prospect of issue
of eurobonds of CenterCredit says.
Besides, the bank studies opportunity of listing and IPO in one of
international stock exchanges during a year, but still has not took final
decision.
"Bank negotiates with IFC regarding sale of 10% stake in the bank's capital
for $20 m. by issue of new common shares in the first half of 2006", - the
prospect, published in site of London stock exchange
www.londonstockexchange.com says.
Assets of CenterCredit, the sixth bank of Kazakhstan, as of January 1 was
nearly $25 bn.
The biggest shareholder of the bank, according to the prospect, is chairman
of the board of directors Bakhytbek Baiseitov, who directly and indirectly
owns 21.2%.
