KASE determined leading operators of the exchange's currency market in January 2006

/IRBIS, Sergey Yakovlev, February 1, 06/ - Kazakhstan stock exchange (KASE) has determined list of second tier banks - leading operators of the exchange's foreign currency market in Kazakhstan in January 2006. Bank's position in the list is given according to the stake of deals made by it in total gross turnover of trades (total of purchased and sold foreign currency) in US dollar, euro and Russian ruble in KASE's trade system. At that, position of each bank was expressed in total tenge equivalent at the current rate of each concluded transaction. A total of 26 second tier banks participated in making of deals on KASE.
