/IRBIS, Assel Omarova, January 5, 06/ - In year 2005 volume of corporate securities (CS) purchase and sale transactions made on Kazakhstan stock exchange (KASE), including primary offerings and trade in state blocks of shares (SBS), reached the equivalent of USD2,756.3 m. (KZT367.8 bn.) and grew relative to similar period of last year by $926.3 m. (KZT119.8 bn.) or 1.51 times (in tenge equivalent - 1.48 times). In 2004 volume of CS purchase and sale deals on KASE was the equivalent of USD1,830.0 m. or KZT248.0 bn.
