Bank CenterCredit JSC (Kazakhstan) attracted loan for financing of grain receipts for the amount $24 m.

/Bank CenterCredit JSC, November 7, 05/ - On November 15 Agreement between Bank CenterCredit and European Bank of Reconstruction and Development was signed for the total amount USD24 m. This credit is granted by AB Credit form, where organizer and creditor of A Credit was EBRD, and creditor on B Credit on non-funded basis were leading banks of Europe, such as Rabobank International, Natexis Banques Populaires and Standard Bank London. This line will allow the Bank to finance grain companies of the Republic of Kazakhstan, who are the Bank's clients, under security of grain receipts, guaranteed, as well as non-guaranteed by Obligations guaranteeing fund on grain receipts. Funds, allotted by EBRD on this line, will be used on sowing and harvesting needs of grain companies. "Opening of new credit line on financing under security of grain receipts is based on success of Grain Receipts Program of EBRD, and also financing project under security of agricultural equipment, whose purpose is development of financial alternatives for Kazakhstan sector of agro- business", - Vladislav Li, the Bank's Chairman of the board noted during signing. Participation in this credit line allows the Bank to get cheaper funds from EBRD and finance the Bank's clients on more attractive terms, and also is confirmation of growing recognition of Bank CenterCredit in international markets. Assets of Bank CenterCredit JSC as of October 1 of this year equaled to KZT258.9 bn., having increased in a year (i.e. from October 1, 2004) by 83%. Shareholders equity within considered year grew by 89% - to KZT21.1 bn. Growth of this indicator is caused by increase of resulting sum of undistributed profit by KZT4.2 bn. and paid authorized capital by KZT5.7 bn. Bank CenterCredit JSC by the results of the third quarter of the current year earned net profit in the amount KZT3.5 bn., this is by 93.1% more than in similar period of last year. Growth of loan portfolio within a year equaled to 106% and in the amount equaled to KZT186.9 bn. Bank CenterCredit JSC is one of the five big banks of Kazakhstan. As of October 1, 2005 the bank has 19 branches and 108 cash settlement divisions within the whole territory of Kazakhstan.
