Within the first 9 months of 2005 volume of repo transactions on KASE reached KZT6,182.5 bn. and grew 1.6 times

/IRBIS, Ranida Gabdeyeva, October 3, 05/ - Within the first nine months of 2005 volume of repo transactions made on Kazakhstan stock exchange (KASE) reached KZT6,182.5 bn. ($46,601.8 m.) and compared to similar period of last year increased 1.59 times (1.65 times in dollar terms). In 2004 volume of transactions on KASE totaled KZT5,683.5 bn. ($42,012.0 m.). Following is the table of volumes of repo deals made on KASE in 2005 grouped by months as well as the structure of turnover and comparable data for year 2004 (m.
