KASE determined leading operators of the exchange's CS in Kazakhstan in September and in the first nine months of 2005

/IRBIS, Assel Omarova, October 3, 05/ - Kazakhstan stock exchange (KASE) determined leading operators of the exchange's market of corporate securities (CS) in September 2005. Companies are ranked according to the stake of deals made by it in aggregate gross turnover of trades (total of purchased and sold shares and bonds). At that, only operations of CS sale and purchase at the secondary market were taken into account, excluding work of brokers with state blocks of shares (SBS). The position of each participant is expressed in Kazakhstan tenge. A total of 40 companies participated in transactions of CS sale and purchase on KASE in September. Below is the list of ten most active operators in descending order of their stakes in total deals volume (companies' headquarters are in Almaty, unless otherwise specified). Following is the corresponding table of the most active members of KASE of "P" and "H" category for the first nine months of 2005. 46 companies participated in deals making in this period.
