Kazmunaygas (Kazakhstan) in the I half of 2005 increased oil output to 4.6 m. tons

/REUTERS, Almaty, July 12, 05/ - Kazmunaygas in the first half of 2005 increased oil output by 7.8% to 4.577 m. tons, the company said on Tuesday. In 2005 Kazmunaygas plans to produce 9.323 m. tons in comparison with 8.918 m. in year 2004. Kazmunaygas's subsidiary company Kaztransoil, which is controlling Kazakhstan's oil pipelines, in the first half-year decreased oil pumping by 8.1% to 18.4 m. tons and expects in 2005 volume of transportation will be 36.6 m. tons in comparison with 38.4 m. one year before. Volume of gas transportation through Kazmunaygas's another "daughter" - Intergas Central Asia - grew by 4.9% in comparison with similar period of last year to 64.8 bn. cubic meters. Volume of oil refining at Atyrau PR grew in the first half-year by 37.4% to 1.8 m. tons. Company's revenues grew within the same period by 25.4% to KZT266.0 bn. In the company plans to get KZT581 bn. (about $4.3 bn.) of revenues in comparison with 501.5 bn. in year 2004.
