KazTransOil JSC (Astana) issued a guarantee on a loan agreement

/KASE, May 23, 05/ - KazTransOil JSC (Astana), with Eurobonds traded in official securities list of Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE) under "A" category informed KASE about the fact that on May 13, 2005 it issued a corporate guarantee for DAB ABN AMRO Bank Kazakhstan JSC (Almaty) on a loan agreement in favor of MunaiTas CJSC. MunaiTas CJSC, a daughter company of NC KazMunaiGas JSC, borrowed funds from DAB ABN AMRO bank Kazakhstan on December 12, 2003 under guarantee of NC KazMunaiGas. The amount of the loan is 23 m maturing in four years. The purpose is to finance capital expenditures related to construction of a oil pipeline Kenkiyak-Atyrau. In summer 2004 KazTransOil JSC acquired 51% stake in MunaiTas CJSC from NC KazMunaiGas. [2005-05-23]
