Kazmunaygas increased oil and condensate output by 9.7% in the I quarter of 2005

/REUTERS, Almaty, Tatyana Seroshtanova, April 13, 05/ - Kazmunaygas in January-March of 2005 increased oil and condensate output by 9.7% in comparison with similar period of last year to 2.241 m. tonnes, company's message published on its site at www.kmg.kz says. Volume of oil refining at Atyrau PR within three months of this year grew up to 723,000 tonnes. 515,000 tonnes were supplied from resources of Kazmunaygas. Thus, oil products output also grew: gasoline - by 54.5%, diesel fuel - by 24.6%, mazut - by 69.9%. Volume of oil transportation by the system of Kaztransoil JSC, which is expected in the year 2005 on the level of 36.574 m. tonnes, in the first quarter grew by 112,000 tonnes in comparison with the first quarter of last year to 9.078 m. tonnes. Volume of gas transportation by trunk gas pipelines of Intergas Central Asia CJSC totaled 33.69 bn. cubic meters in comparison with 33.67 bn. one year before. It's expected that volume of gas transportation in 2005 will total 116.7 bn. cubic meters. According to company's data, in January-March revenues grew by 28.8% to KZT124.4 bn. (about $953 m.).
