Bank CenterCredit JSC (Kazakhstan) to raise the role of internet-banking to 38%

/IRBIS, Assel Omarova, April 7, 05/ - Bank CenterCredit JSC (Almaty) with
shares and bonds traded in official securities list under "A" category released
the statement today informing that by the end of 2005 it will boost the role of
internet- banking to 38%.
As the announcement states, the total volume of payments made throught the
system at the beginning of 2004 comprised 25%, and as of April 1, 2005 - 34%.
Currently, Bank CenterCredit JSC has a total of 3,000 i-banking corporate
clients throughout the whole republic. On average, the Bank lures new 120
customers every month.
Internet banking is a convenient way to make payments and hold other operations
as it helps to save time and reduce operating costs. This service is aimed to
manage the bank account via Internet at any time convenient to a client.
Using Internet-banking system, the client may carry out not only payments, but
purchase or sell currency, receive balance reports, as well as information
about rates beginning from 1994. Client may also undertake a loading of
payments from popular 1C software and make payments based on forecasts. Clients
who have an extensive country-wide branch network is able to control the work
of its regional offices. Monthly fee for using Internet-banking service is
KZT1,600, the release says.
Major investments that Bank made in respect of this software fell at the satke
of system security guard purchased from leading software company in field of
information security.
In the current year the bank also plans to launch its Home banking service for
its private customers, which enables each and every client to take advantage of
remote banking. At a testing stage, nearly 700 banking employees were
connected to this service. Beginning from April, the software solution will be
offered to employees of Bank's affiliate companies.
