Production branch of Razvedka Dobycha KazMunayGas JSC - PB Embamunaygas summarized results of activity in 2004

/PB Embamunaygas, March 24, 05/ - On March 11 of 2005 expanded conference dedicated to results of production-financial activity of production branch of Razvedka Dobycha KazMunayGas JSC (Astana) - PB Embamunaygas in 2004 and tasks for year 2005. According to results of 2004 oil output plan has been executed by 100.1%. There have been outputted 2,712.8 th. tonnes of oil, including 2.8 th. tonnes above the set task. In comparison with the previous year oil output volume has grown by 81.3 th. tonnes or by 103.1%. Oil supply in 2004 was executed by 100.5%, the plan was 2,645 th. tonnes and there were actually supplied 2,656.9 th. tonnes, 11.9 th. Tones were supplied over the plan. In 2004 there were set in operation 98 new wells while the plan comprised was 96 wells. Additional oil output on new wells has equaled to 82.3 th. tonnes, while the plan was 65.5 th. tonnes. Work on transmitting wells to electrical screw pumps (ESP) was continued. In 2004 a total of 96 wells were transmitted to ESP, whereas the plan comprised 95. General stock of wells equipped with ESP at the beginning of 2005 was 419 wells. In 2004 a total of 38 wells were removed from inactivity, whereas it was planned to remove 34, and due to that oil output totaled 11.4 th. tonnes. As regards influence upon bottomhole formation zone in year 2004 the plan was 159 wells/operations, there were actually made 232 wells/operations. As regards introduction of new technologies on increase of oil recovery of wells in 2004 there were made 191 wells/operations, 44.4 th. Tones were outputted additionally. As regards conducted technologies such as electrical action, selection isolation, acoustic impact, received additional oil output exceeds planned volumes, and spent funds were entirely compensated. In 2004 volume of carried out works on major repairs totaled KZT1,562 m. In 2004 there were thoroughly repaired 93.8 km of oil pipelines, 38.6 km of water pipelines and 1.7 km of gas pipelines. As regards exploration works in accordance with the plan for year 2004, there were developed 500 running kilometers of seismic profiles 2D at exploration block R-9. In 2004 major repairs at 246 wells were executed, while the plan comprised 243 wells, at that an additional output equaling to 91 th. tonnes was received. Volume of carried out works totaled KZT1,172.5 m. In 2004 it was planned to remove 15 wells from inactivity, actually 12 wells have been restored. Additional oil output totaled 17.8 th. tonnes. Major repairs plan for year 2004 comprised building and setting in exploitation of 57 production and 3 non-production objects. Actual spending of capital investments totaled KZT2,912.1 m, including production building KZT2,633.7 m. and non-production building KZT278.4 m. In year 2005 PB Embamunaygas has to output oil in the volume of 2,800 th. tonnes. Following measures are planned for this purpose: - setting 123 new oil wells in exploitation; - removal of 29 well s from inactivity; - kickoff of the second branch on 20 wells; - making 272 wells/operations in impact upon bottomhole formation zone of oil and pressure wells. As regards drilling works, it's planned to finish building of 121 wells. Volume of exploration works in the plan for year 2005 is KZT535 m. As regards major repairs, it's planned to spend KZT3,620 m., including for production building KZT3,299 m. and non-production one - KZT321 m. In this year the planned volume of oil output grew by 87.2 th. tonnes. Questions regarding protection of labor and safety measures are most important in branch's activity. Every year budget funds in the amount of over KZT255 m. are spent for these purposes. Realization of ecological program on preservation of the environment is also an important matter. In 2004 a total of KZT2,061 m. were provided for realization of this program. One of the most relevant problems is realization of social program. In 2004 social program was meant for improving oil industry workers' condition of life in the pace of working, organization of cultural and sport-sanitary work, rest and treatment of workers and their families. KZT52.6 m. have been given for major repairs of Atyrauskiy health center. In Dossor settlement repairs at social objects were made for a total of KZT5 m. KZT12 m. have been given for repairing utility networks in multistory apartment houses in Kulsary city, for building and repairing social objects in Makatskiy region - KZT22 m. In 2004 there was organized sanitary-resort treatment and rest of 3,366 oil industry workers, 687 pensioners, 1,424 children for a total of KZT210.3 m. PB Embamunaygas heads children's house "Ak bota". Every year 172 chidren have rest in summer sanitary camps in Almaty city. Razvedka Dobycha KazMunayGas JSC has approved the plan of measures on social support of war veterans. KZT22,820 th. Have been provided for these measures. At present veterns of war have been paid KZT95 th. Each for medical service and medicines, for sanitary-resort treatment and for subscription of papers and journals.
