Kazakhstan Ministry of finance becomes the shareholder of Kazakhstan Mortgage Company JSC

/KASE, March 23, 05/ - Kazakhstan Mortgage Company JSC (Almaty, KMC), whose bonds are traded in Kazakhstan stock exchange's (KASE) official "A" listing category, has informed KASE by the official letter about changing of company's Shareholder. "At present the only Shareholder of the Company is the Ministry of Finance of Kazakhstan in the person of the Committee of state property and privatization", - the letter says. Detailed information is not given. It was said before that in accordance with the agreement about transmitting KMC's shares to asset management dated November 29 of 2004 #432 the National Bank of Kazakhstan, which was the only shareholder of KMC, gave the right to solve questions related to the only Shareholder's competence by Kazakhstan legislation and by KMC's charter, to the Ministry of finance of Kazakhstan. KMC's primary activities - loan operations (giving credits in monetary form on the terms of paying off, urgency and giving back), factoring operations (purchasing of rights of payment requirement from consumer of goods (works, services) with assumption of the risk of non-payment).
