DEBUT OPEN-ENDED MUTUAL FUND LAUNCHED ITS ACTIVITIES IN KAZAKHSTAN

/IRBIS, Andrey Tsalyuk, January 14, 05/ - Centras Securities JSC, the member of Kazakhstan Stock Exchange on 'K', 'P', 'H' categories, informed the IRBIS agency that on January 5, 2005 the Agency for regulation and supervision of financial market and financial organizations registered the first open-ended mutual fund in Kazakhstan. Centras Securities JSC will be managing the fund called "Kaznacheistvo" (Treasury). The shares of the fund are given the national identification number of KZPFN0002027. Centras Securities JSC will be hosting a conference on January 19, 2005 in 11:00 a.m. at the National Press Club. Press conference will be given by Eldar Abrazakov- Director General, Centras Securities JSC; Timur Isataev - Chairman of the Board of ATFBank JSC (Almaty), the custodian of the fund; Bakhytzhan Kapyshev- President of Central securities depository (Almaty), the idependent fund registrar; Serik Akhanov - Head of Financial Institutions' Association.
