Income coefficients of Kazakhstan pension funds for November 2003 - November 2004 according to FSA

/IRBIS, Assel Omarova, December 15, 04/ - Kazakhstan Agency for financial market and financial organizations regulation and supervision (FSA or Agency) has calculated coefficients of real and nominal returns of accumulative pension funds (APF) of the republic for November, 2003 - November, 2004. Data presented in the table below (data in brackets are comparable figures for October, 2003 - October, 2004). Compiling the table IRBIS agency used the data of the National Bank and Agency on the volume of net assets of APF (total of pension assets excluding liabilities on charged commission interests, accounts payable on pension payments) as of December 1 of 2003 and December 1 of 2004. Assets have been converted into US dollars at weighted average exchange's rate effective on the mentioned dates. Weighted average coefficient of nominal yield on pension assets of above accumulative pension funds for the period November 2003 - November 2004, according to the Agency's data, is 3.20%. Nominal income coefficient (К2), according to the Agency's methods, reflects the profitability of APF assets calculated by accruing totals. Real income coefficient (К3) - the Agency's estimation of assets yield including index of consumer prices in Kazakhstan which equaled according to the National Bank's data to 106.8 (107.5; 107.7) for the period.
