KASE determined leading operators of the exchange's GS purchase- sale sector for September and the first 11 months of 2004

/IRBIS, Assel Omarova, December 6, 04/ - Kazakhstan stock exchange
(KASE) composed traditional list of companies - leading operators of the
exchange's market of government securities (GS) purchase-sale in
November of 2004.
Companies are ranked according to the stake of deals made by it in
aggregate gross turnover of trades (total of purchased and sold bonds).
The position of each participant is expressed in the currency of payments -
tenge.
A total of 40 companies participated in trades with GS at KASE in
November. Below is the list of 10 most active operators in descending order
of their stakes in total deals volume (companies' headquarters are in Almaty)
and their positions in October of 2004. The stake of these operators in
November was 82.6% of the exchange's GS sector turnover.
