NAC Kazatomprom and China national nuclear corporation sign agreement about strategic partnership till 2020

/IRBIS, Natalya Kuznetsova, November 8, 04/ - National atomic company Kazatomprom CJSC (NAC Kazatomprom, Almaty), whose bonds are traded in Kazakhstan stock exchange's (KASE) official "A" listing category, today spread press-release which says on November 6 of 2004 in Peking (CPR) NAC Kazatomprom and China National Nuclear Corporation, CNNC signed the agreement "About the long-term strategic partnership" and the project of work program in the sphere of atomic industry till 2020. The press-release says establishment of the strategic partnership between NAC Kazatomprom and CNNC will contribute to unification of the strongest branches of industrial complexes of nuclear-fuel cycle of Kazakhstan and China. Signing of this agreement on intergovernmental level during the nearest meetings of the states' heads after its preliminary approving by two countries' governments is also provided. [2004-11-08]
