In the first 10 months of 2004 volume of repo transactions at KASE reached KZT4,456.0 bn. and grew 1.7 times

/IRBIS, Ranida Gabdeyeva, November 3, 04/ - During the first 10 months of 2004 volume of repo transactions made at Kazakhstan stock exchange (KASE) reached KZT4,456.0 bn. ($32,592.0 m.) and compared to similar period of last year increased 1.71 times (1.88 times in dollar terms). In 2003 volume the transactions at KASE equaled to KZT 3,208.9 bn. ($21,523.6 m.). Following is the table of volumes of repo deals made at KASE in 2004 grouped by months as well as the structure of the turnover and comparable data for year 2003 (m.
