Finance Department of Astana paid 4th coupon on city municipal bonds of the 4th and the 5th issues

/KASE, October 12, 04/ - Today Finance Department of Astana city informed Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE) with the official letter about the fact that on October 11, 2004 it transferred following amounts to Central depository of securities CJSC (Almaty): - KZT 59,008,527.88 for the fourth coupon payment on city municipal bonds of the fourth emission (KZZ4KY030048, KZT100.00, KZT1,633.0 m., October 11, 02 - October 9, 05, semi-annual coupon 8.31% APR) - KZT 35,741,516.17 for the fourth coupon payment on city municipal bonds of the fifth emission (KZZ4KY040054, KZT100.00, KZT967.0 m., October 11, 02 - October 9, 06, semi-annual coupon 8.50% APR). Nominal price of bonds is used as a basis for calculation of coupon payment. Nominal price is indexed to tenge/dollar exchange rate set by the National Bank of Kazakhstan (the central bank).
