KASE determined leading operators of the exchange's GS purchase- sale sector for August and the first 8 months of 2004

/IRBIS, Ranida Gabdeyeva, September 6, 04/ - Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE) composed traditional list of companies - leading operators of the KASE in government securities (GS) purchase-sale market by the results of August 2004. Companies are ranked according to individual portion of concluded deals in aggregate gross turnover of trades (total of purchased and sold bonds). The position of each participant is expressed in the currency of payments - tenge. A total of 31 companies participated in trades with GS at KASE in June (banks, broker-dealer companies, pension assets management companies, SAPF, non-banking financial organizations), excluding the National Bank of Kazakhstan. Below is the list of 10 most active operators given in descending order of their shares in total deals volume and its positions in June, 2004.
