/IRBIS, Ranida Gabdeyeva, September 6, 04/ - In the first 8 months of 2004, volume of transactions on government securities (GS) purchase and sale at Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE) including bonds of domestic executive bodies reached KZT489,029.2 m. ($3,555.7 m.) and increased 2.5 times relative to similar period of last year. In the qhole 2003 the volume of corresponding transactions on GS at KASE was KZT353,979.6 m. ($2,378.0 m.).
