Relative to comparable period of 2003 following accounts increased:
- shareholders' equity - by KZT 11.6 bn. including: additional unpaid capital
- 8.1 bn; retained earnings - 3.5 bn. and decrease of paid-up authorized
capital - 50.1 m.
- assets - by 9.5 bn. including: depreciable cost of fixed assets (including
construction in progress) - 7.4 bn; accounts receivable - 3.2 bn; other
assets - 282.6 m; and decrease of inventories - 1.4 bn;
- sales volume - by 4.7 bn;
- cost of goods sold - by 2.1 bn;
- expenses - 1.5 bn.
Liabilities fell down by 2.0 bn including: decrease of negative goodwill - 6.0
bn; and other liabilities - 367.1 m. This was partially offset by growth of
loans attracted (including bonds) - 3.3 bn; accounts payable - 1.1 bn.
Net income earned by NAC Kazatomprom for the reported period increased
in comparison with first 6 months of 2003 by 1.8 bn.
Company's primary activities: national operator on export
and import of uranium and its compounds, nuclear fuel for
atomic power stations, special equipment and technologies,
materials of double usage.
