In the first 6 months of 2004 volume of repo transactions at KASE reached KZT 2,443.8 bn. and grew 1.7 times

/IRBIS, Assel Omarove, July 7, 04/ - During the first 6 months of 2004 volume of repo transactions made at Kazakhstan stock exchange (KASE) reached KZT2,443.8 bn. ($17,683.9 m.) and compared to similar period of last year increased 1.71 times. In 2003 volume the transactions at KASE equaled to KZT3,208.9 bn. ($21,523.6 m.).
