Alliance Bank JSC (Kazakhstan) not to pay dividends for 2003

/KASE, June 3, 04/ - ALLIANCE BANK JSC (Almaty) with securities listed under official "A" category of Kazakhstan Stock Exchange JSC (KASE) presented minutes of annual general shareholders meeting held on May 31, 2004. Shareholders approved the financial statements of the bank for 2003 and accepted decisions that follow. To retain the whole net income of 2003 in amount of KZT112.3 m. Dividends on common shares by results of 2003 shall not be declared. Shareholders of Alliance Bank JSC must be informed of holding general shareholders meeting via written notification sent not later than 30 days in advance, before a meeting takes place.
