KRTH ZANGAR JSC (Kazakhstan) to pay KZT348.2 m in dividends on preferred shares

/KASE, May 28, 04/ - KRTH ZANGAR JSC (Almaty) with shares listed under "B" and bonds under "A" official categories of Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE), presented a copy of minutes of annual general shareholders meeting held on May 21, 2004. In accordance with the agenda the only shareholder of the Company (TAU ORDA LLP - note KASE) approved financial statements for 2003 and auditor's report on same financials and accepted decisions that follow. KRTH ZANGAR JSC does not declare dividends on common stocks. KRTH ZANGAR declares dividends on preferred shares KZT1 per each (10%of par) for a total amount of KZT348, 248 subject to withholding tax of 15%. The Company will begin distributing dividends for 2003 from June 15, 2004 in accordance with register (shareholders list) at May 10, 2004.
