Development Bank of Kazakhstan placed two issues of Eurobonds in tenge and US dollars

/KASE, October 23, 2024/ –Development Bank of Kazakhstan JSC (Astana), whose bonds are officially listed on Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE), has provided KASE with the following press release dated October 23, 2024: quote Development Bank of Kazakhstan JSC (a subsidiary of NMH "Baiterek" JSC, hereinafter referred to as DBK, Bank) placed two issues of Eurobonds. The first was denominated in US dollars in the amount of 500 million US dollars, the second was denominated in tenge in the amount of 65 billion tenge. The parameters of the new Eurobond issues are as follows: Issue of Eurobonds denominated in US dollars: Volume: 500 million US dollars, maturity of securities: 5 years, yield: 5.30 % per annum. Issue of Eurobonds denominated in tenge: Volume – 65 billion tenge, maturity of securities – 3.5 years, yield – 13.50 % per annum. Settlements for both Eurobond issues were made on October 23, 2024. It should be noted that, based on the results of the order book formation, investor demand for dollar-denominated Eurobonds exceeded the supply volume by more than one and a half times. Eurobonds generated significant interest among investors, which indicates the investment attractiveness of securities of the Development Bank of Kazakhstan, in particular, and Kazakhstan as a whole.
