KASE determined leading operators of the exchange market of foreign currency in March and the first three months of current year

/KASE, Sergey Yakovlev, April 2, 04/ - Kazakhstan stock exchange (KASE)
determined the list of second tier banks - leading operators in stock market
of foreign currency in Kazakhstan in March of 2004.
Place of bank in the list is set in accordance with the stake of deals made by
it in total gross-turnover of trades (sum of purchased and sold currency) on
USD, Euro and Russian rouble in KASE's trade system. At that, position of
each bank was expressed in total tenge equivalent at the current rate of
each made deal.
A total of 26 second tier banks participated in conducting of deals in
February. Below is the list of ten most active of them in descending order of
their stake in total volume of deals (all headquartered in Almaty).
