Representative office of Nurbank to be established in Russia

/Kazakhstan today, March 10, 04/ - Nurbank OJSC got the authorization of the Central bank of the Russian Federation to establish a Representative office in Moscow. It was reported by the press service of the bank. Nurbank's decision to establish the Representative office in the financial center of Russia was made in accordance with the long-term development strategy of the bank. One of the priorities of the strategy is establishment and development of cooperation with Russian banks in order to promote trade turnover between economic partners of both countries as well as regulation and extension of contacts between Russian and Kazakh companies. The necessity to open the Representative office in Russia is based on the growing demand of Nurbank's clients in Export-Import financing with Russian counterparts and, also, interest from Russian banks in expansion and strengthening business relations with Kazakh partners. The potential of economic cooperation with Russia in different economic sectors, thus an opportunity of project financing in Russia and Kazakhstan, including Russian banks, are among vital interests of Nurbank, which was nominated by Euromoney magazine as "The Best local partner in Kazakhstan" in 2003.
