KASE determined leading operators of the exchange's GS purchase- sale sector for February and the first 2 months of 2004

/IRBIS, Assel Omarova, March 2, 04/ - Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE) composed traditional list of companies - leading operators of the KASE in government securities (GS) purchase-sale market by the results of February 2004. Companies are ranked according to individual portion of concluded deals in aggregate gross turnover of trades (total of purchased and sold bonds). The position of each participant is expressed in the currency of payments - tenge. A total of 29 companies participated in trades with GS at KASE in February (banks, broker-dealer companies, pension assets management companies, SAPF, non-banking financial organizations), excluding the National Bank of Kazakhstan. Below is the list of 10 the most active operators given in descending order of their shares in total deals volume and its positions in January of 2004.
