Uzakbai Karabalin, president of "KazMunaiGas" NC" CJSC, has stated this today, on 23 February at a video press briefing Almaty-Astana. According to U. Karabalin, the oil and gas condensate production by "KazMunaiGas" NC" CJSC reached 7 million 915 thousand tons in 2003, which is by 6.5% more than the level of 2002. 193.7 thousand tons of oil were produced over the plan. The incomes of "KazMunaiGas" NC" CJSC in 2003 made 399 billion tenge, which is by 4.4% higher than the analogous result in 2002. The net income was gained in an amount of 69.1 billion tenge, its growth against the last year result making 18.9%. The capital investments at the expense of own funds made 58.5 billion tenge in 2003, including 47.5 billion tenge invested in the production. The growth against the level of 2002 was by 21.4%. As of the I quarter of 2004 the capital investments are suggested in the volume of 14.6 billion tenge. U. Karabalin has observed that "currently we pay special attention to the reconstruction of facilities, an increase of capital investments, the construction of industrial and social facilities." "In 2004 we plan to renew our main production resources, assets and continue further reliable work of our company", - he has said.
