Bank CenterCredit OJSC (Kazakhstan) informed about preliminary results of activity in 2003

(Almaty), whose securities are circulating in the official "A" listing category
of Kazakhstan stock exchange JSC (KASE), today spread press-release,
which contained preliminary data about main results of results of its activity
in 2003.
It's informed that according to preliminary results of non-audited financial
statement non-consolidated net income of Bank CenterCredit OJSC
increased in 2003 by 73% and equaled by January 1 of 2004 to KZT1,237
m. Assets of the bank rose within the same period by 62% to KZT82.7 bn.
Shareholders equity of the bank equaled by January 1 of 2004 to KZT10.8
bn., at that, in comparison with data as of January 1 of 2003 this indicator
has grown by 75%.
In accordance with the development strategy Bank CenterCredit OJSC
intends to continue the active promotion to the development of small and
medium business and formation of medium class of Kazakhstan. "For these
purposes in 2004 the bank plans to spend significant resources for further
development of infrastructure and range of services, improvement of service
quality and introduction of innovations", - the message says.
According to bank's data as of January 1 of 2004 Bank CenterCredit OJSC
had 19 branches and 73 cash-settlement offices on the whole territory of
Kazakhstan. This network provides for bank's presence in 30 cities and 100
settlements of the country.
On December 16 of 2003 in Brussels (Belgium) at the next 27th EuroMarket
Forum dedicated to the theme "Financing of projects and investing into
developing markets", in accordance with results of researches held by
European market center Honorary Council of ERMC assigned to Bank
CenterCredit OJSC award "Premium Euromarket-2003" in nomination "The
best bank for small and medium business".
Bank CenterCredit OJSC has long-term rating of bank deposits in foreign
currency Ва2 from Moody's Investors Service and long-term rating В+ from
Fitch Ratings.
