Changes in the Board of directors of PetroKazakhstan Oil Products OJSC

/KASE, January 23, 04/ - PetroKazakhstan Oil Products OJSC (Shymkent, before - SHNOS OJSC), whose securities are circulating in the official securities list of Kazakhstan stock exchange JSC (KASE) (bonds - in "A" category, shares - in "B" category), has presented KASE the copy of minutes of the prescheduled general shareholders meeting, which was held on January 15 of 2004. In accordance with the agenda shareholders of PetroKazakhstan Oil Products OJSC ahead of time stopped authorities of members of the returning board and elected a new staff of the returning board, authorities period of which was till the next annual general shareholders meeting, and also ahead of stopped authorities of a member of the Board of directors Marlo Kreg Thomas and elected additionally to the Board of directors Thomas Paul Dvorzhak (President of PetroKazakhstan Oil Products OJSC and PetroKazakhstan Kumkol Resources JSC) till the expiry of authorities term of the Board of directors as the whole.
