The press-service of KazMunaiGas CJSC informed a correspondent of KZ-today about this fact. In addition, according to the press-service, the volume of petroleum refining in the first quarter of 2004 is expected to reach 588 th tones, including that from the resources of NC KazMunaiGas CJSC - 400 th tones. The volume of oil refining at Atyrau refinery OJSC in 2003 totaled 2,321 th tones of oil, exceeding the level of 2002 by 2.2%. 1,822 th tones of oil accounted for resources of NC KazMunaiGas CJSC.
