The volume of rendered services in January - September in Kazakhstan increased by 33.4%

/Kazakhstan today, December 23, 03/ - In January-September of 2003 turnover of enterprises engaged in service sector, amounted to KZT274152.3 mn, including from principal activities - by KZT220536.3 mn., what exceeds the level of a corresponding period of the last year by 33.4%. Statistics agency of Kazakhstan informed KZ-today. According to statistics agency, increase in total volume of services provided mainly came from enterprises increased turnovers engaged in "area of other commercial activities", computer services, entertainment, cultural and sports activities and services and those, related to real estate. More than a half of total volume of services (61.7% or KZT136,003.9 mn) falls at the stake of enterprises, which provide services in area of other commercial activities. 13.1% or KZT28,823.3 mn falls at the stake of enterprises engaged in organizing entertaining activities, cultural and sports activities. The stake of real estate services comprises 12.5% or KZT27,564.4 mn. The rest volume is spread between services on machine and equipment rental, which does not require an operator, research and development area, computer services, utilization of scraps other services. Significant share (41.6% or KZT91,843.7 mn) in forming total volume of services is provided by small enterprises. Medium enterprises rendered services for KZT72,234.5 mn or 32.8% of total volume of services. More than a half (62.6% or KZT138,153.7 mn) of a total services volume is formed by the private businesses. State run enterprises rendered services for KZT47,083.0 mn (21.4% of total services). Enterprises owned by other states, physical or juridical persons, provided services for KZT35,229.6 mn, what comprised 16% of total services volume. [2003-12-23]
