Since the beginning of the year, the value of KASE Index has decreased by 16.6 %. The volume of transactions with index shares in November 2022 amounted to 4.1 billion tenge, which is by 2.3 billion tenge lower than in October 2022. A positive trend in Kaspi.kz shares has been preserved since mid-July, during which time they managed to recover in price by 58.5 %. On November 23 shareholders of Kaspi.kz decided to pay out dividends on ordinary shares for the third quarter of 2022 in the amount of 600 tenge per share. We remind you that dividends for the second quarter amounted to 500 tenge per share. Shares of Halyk Savings Bank of Kazakhstan JSC took the second place in terms of growth rates, adding 3.2 %. The price of the Bank's common shares during the whole month consolidated in a narrow corridor of 117 tenge per share and only in the last trading session followed the increased price of GDRs for shares. On November 17, the Bank announced the sale of a 100 % stake in its subsidiary in Tajikistan "in order to concentrate on more important sectors". On November 18, the published financial statements showed that the Bank's net profit for nine months of 2022 amounted to 417.1 billion tenge, which is 25.2 % higher YoY. Shares of another index representative of the banking sector, Bank CenterCredit JSC, closed the month with a decrease of 2.1%. At the same time, since the beginning of the year, Bank CenterCredit JSC remains the only representative of the index list, trading in the green zone with an increase of 52.5 %. The third place according to the results of the reporting month was occupied by common shares of Kcell JSC with a slight increase of 0.3 %. On November 8, the Board of Directors of Kcell JSC approved the financial results for nine months of 2022, according to which the operator's net profit increased by 30 % YoY to 32.5 billion tenge. Despite this, consideration of the issue of paying dividends was postponed until the results of the auction for radio frequencies, which is scheduled for the second half of December this year, are received. Meanwhile, the share price of the parent company, Kazakhtelecom JSC, according to the results of November fell by 17.0 %. On November 22, the company published its nine-month consolidated financial statements, according to which the Group's net profit increased by a modest 2.4 % to 88.7 billion tenge. Meanwhile, the international rating agency S&P Global Ratings on November 23, affirmed the company's rating at BB+, based on the company's stable growth prospects. A decrease was recorded for KazTransOil shares, losing 17.7 % in price. According to the reporting for nine months of 2022, the company's net profit decreased by 49 % YoY to 25.2 billion tenge. Common shares of National Atomic Company "Kazatomprom" JSC closed in the red zone for the third month in a row. In November, they fell by 4.7 %. KASE's equity market: At the end of November 2022, the capitalization of the equity market amounted to 22.6 trillion tenge (48.3 billion USD), which is 313.2 billion tenge or 1.4 % higher than the same indicator of the previous month. The main share of growth fell on the capitalization of Kaspi.kz JSC and Halyk Savings Bank of Kazakhstan JSC due to the adjustment of their share prices. As of the end of November, shares of 117 titles of 103 issuers were listed on KASE, of which shares of four titles of four issuers were admitted to circulation in the "Unlisted securities" sector. The volume of trading in shares in November amounted to 11.7 billion tenge, having decreased by 12.0 %, or 1.6 billion tenge, compared to October. The entire trading volume fell on the secondary market. The number of transactions increased by 37.5 % to 46,277.
