KASE determined leading operators of the exchange market of foreign currency for November and 11 months of the current year

/IRBIS, December 1, 03/ - Kazakhstan stock exchange (KASE) determined
the list of second tier banks - leading operators of exchange market of
foreign currency in Kazakhstan for November of 2003.
Position of bank in the list is set in accordance with share of deals it
concluded in total gross-turnover of trades (sum of purchased and sold
currency) on USD, Euro and Russian rouble in trading system of KASE. In
addition the position of each bank was expressed by total tenge equivalent at
the current rate of each concluded deal.
In total, in conclusion of deals 26 second-tier banks were participating at
KASE in November. Below the list of ten most active operators in order of
priority is given.

In November of 2003 the volume of operations with foreign currency at
KASE amounted to equivalent USD404,388.5 ths or KZT59,446.3 m. In the
total turnover of exchange's currency market 99.94% of conducted deals fell
to the stake of US dollar in November.
