As part of the annual Cbonds Awards, Halyk Finance JSC, a subsidiary of Halyk
Bank of Kazakhstan, according to the results of 2021, won four awards in the
categories "Best Investment Bank of Kazakhstan", "Best Management Company
of Kazakhstan", "Best Analytics on the Bond Market of Kazakhstan", and "Best
Mobile Application for Investments in Kazakhstan".
"Halyk Finance has been recognized as the best investment bank in Kazakhstan
for the sixth year in a row and for the eighth time since the award has been in
existence. In addition, I would like to note that the CIS market participants
recognized the placement of social bonds of the Damu Fund organized by Halyk
Finance as the best initial placement deal. Despite the relatively small volume
of placement, this issue was the debut issue of social debt instruments for
Kazakh issuers. And the recognition of our merit in promoting the principles of
ESG in Kazakhstan's market is certainly valuable to us," commented Farhad
