The international rating agency Moody's Investors Service ("Moody's") affirmed
the rating of ForteBank JSC at "Ва2" with a "stable" outlook.
The affirmation of the rating reflects Moody's assessment of the stability of
the operating environment and creditworthiness of ForteBank JSC against the
background of increased risks, as well as the stability of the bank's
capitalization, profitability and liquidity.
The "stable" outlook for the long-term rating reflects Moody's view that, thanks
to its capitalization, profitability and liquidity, the bank will be able to
effectively manage the risks of a possible deterioration in asset quality amid
rising inflation and difficult financial market conditions.
ForteBank is one of the five largest banks in Kazakhstan and is one of the most
stable, liquid and well-capitalized banks in the country. The bank has 20
