In December number of accounts of individuals involved in transactions with shares on KASE decreased by 19.8 %

/KASE, January 21, 2022/ – In December 2021, the number of accounts of individuals involved in transactions with shares on Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE) has decreased by 19.8 % as compared with the previous month. The percentage of individuals in the gross turnover of shares in monetary terms decreased to 26.2 % from 57.4 % in November 2020. As of the end of December, there were 218,336 personal accounts opened by individuals at the Central Securities Depository (hereinafter – CD), which is by 4,357 accounts more than at the end of the previous month.
