Akimat of Atyrau oblast of Kazakhstan informed about repayment of its municipal bonds of the 2nd issue, and payment of 4th coupon on securities of the 2nd and 3rd issues

/KASE, September 26, 03/ - The Director of Akim's office of Atyrau oblast informed Kazakhstan stock exchange (KASE) with the official letter about the fact that on September 26 of 2003 it paid the fourth coupon payment in amount of KZT75,579,348.00 and repaid KZT1,844,321,180.00 on its municipal bonds of Atyrau oblast of the second issue(KZE4KY020023, ARU024.002, $100, $12,727,600, September 26, 01 - September 25, 03, semi-annual coupon 8.00% APR), what completely meets the terms of debt servicing. Bonds that have state status were floated in three stages. The first specialized trades during which the coupon rate was determined took place on September 25 2001. Second specialized trades (the first additional floatation) were held within the trade system of KASE on November 2, 2001, third (second additional floatation) - November 8, 2001. DB Securities OJSC (Kazakhstan) (Almaty), Kazkommerts Securities (Almaty), Narodnyi Bank of Kazakhstan (Almaty) acted as financial consultants of the issuer. The consultant on legal issues was White & Case LLP (Almaty). The financial agent of the issuer was Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (Almaty). By the results of three specialized trades the issuer floated the whole planned volume of the issue. Local banks purchased 82.7% of the issue volume in nominal terms, banks' clients - 1.6%, and pension asset management companies purchased 15.7%. The weighted average yield of bonds during the first floatation totaled to 8.6205%APR, effectively (annual basis) - 8.8068%APR. For the time of circulation on ARU024.002 at KASE in purchase-sale sector 4 deals with 84,600 bonds for a total amount of KZT1,269.3 were concluded. In repo sector, in total 8 transactions with 611,032 bonds for a total amount of (by volume of closing) KZT9,722.5. In over-the-counter market, according to Central Depository of Securities CJSC (Almaty), only one deal with 87,276 bonds for amount of KZT1,428.4 was concluded. In addition, the letter of the Director of Akim's Office of Atyrau oblast mentions that on September 26, 2003 the fourth coupon on municipal bonds of Atyrau oblast of the third issue (KZE4KY050038, ARU060.003, $100, $5,887,100, September 25, 2001 - September 24, 2006, semi-annual coupon 8.60%APR) were paid totaling to KZT37,580,842.00, what also completely meets the terms of debt servicing.
