NC KTZh CJSC (Kazakhstan) has issued promissory notes for KZT400.4 m

/IRBIS, September 18, 03/ - National company Kazakstan temir zholy CJSC (NC
KTZh CJSC, Astana) has spread press-release, which says on September 17 of
2003 the company issued common commercial six-month promissory notes to the
total amount of KZT400.4 m. Financial operator of the promissory notes issue is
Halyk Bank of Kazakhstan OJSC (Almaty). These promissory notes are meant for
settlements with suppliers.
This issue is the second one, which has been made together with Halyk Bank of
Kazakhstan OJSC. The first issue was redeemed on September 5 of 2003 to the
total amount of KZT556.0 m.
In May of 2003 by the Resolution of the Board of the National Bank of
Kazakhstan the company was assigned status of first-class issuer with limit of
promissory notes rediscount equaling to KZT1.5 bn.
