Number of accounts used by individuals for equity trading on KASE increased by 4.9 % in August

/KASE, September 14, 2021/ – In August 2021, the number of accounts of individuals involved in deals with shares on Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE) increased by 4.9 % MoM. The share of individuals in the gross turnover of shares in monetary terms increased to 45.4 % from 44.9 % in July 2021. As of the end of August, there were 188,009 personal accounts opened by individuals with the Central Securities Depository (hereinafter – the CD), which is 6,445 accounts more MoM.
