/KASE, June 2, 2021/ – Halyk Savings Bank of Kazakhstan (Almaty), whose
securities are officially listed on Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE), has
provided KASE with the following communique:

JSC Halyk Bank (the "Bank") informs about payment of dividends on common
shares of the Bank (ISIN KZ000A0LE0S4) at the end of 2020, in the amount of
18.00 tenge per common share, in accordance with resolution adopted at the
annual general shareholders’ meeting of the Bank by absent voting, without
holding an in-person general shareholders’ meeting (minutes No.45 dated 23
April 2021).
The amount of dividends on common shares of the Bank payable according to
the list of shareholders eligible to receive dividends, as of 00:00 a.m. 26
April 2021, totaled KZT 211,573 million, including on global depositary
receipts, the underlying asset of which are the issued common shares of the
Bank – KZT 56,896 million.
The amount of actually paid out dividends to the Bank's shareholders, who have
presented their actual details to the Bank for payment of dividends or such
details are available in the shareholder register, or in the nominal holding
accounting system, from 1 June 2021 (the dividend payment start date) thru the
publication date of this information note, totaled KZT 211,027 million,
including on global depositary receipts, the underlying asset of which are
issued common shares of the Bank – KZT 56,896 million.
The accrued but unpaid dividends, due to lack of updated details of
shareholders, will be transferred by the Bank within the time limits established
by the legislation to an unclaimed dividend account opened with JSC Central
Securities Depository (the "Central Depository"), in accordance with the
requirements of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan " On Joint Stock
Companies". Thus, if the Bank's shareholders have not been paid their
dividends, they should contact the Central Depositary to receive dividends
accrued by the Bank on commons shares of the Bank, after expiration of the time
limit established by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
