/KASE, May 13, 2021/ – Development Bank of Kazakhstan (Nur-Sultan), whose bonds are officially listed on Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE), has provided KASE with the following press release dated May 12, 2021: quote The official launch of a new coal beneficiation plant of Qaz Carbon LLP took place today in Karaganda and the Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Roman Sklyar took part in its opening ceremony. The innovative enterprise was built with the financial support of Development Bank of Kazakhstan JSC (DBK, a subsidiary of the Baiterek Holding). Thanks to the full automation of production and the use of the latest world technologies, it was possible to achieve high production indicators: today the annual production capacity of the factory is 1,800,000 tons of coal concentrate. The construction of the Karaganda coal beneficiation plant began in September last year, but today Qaz Carbon LLP produces up to 300 tons of high-quality coal concentrate per hour. The enterprise is capable of enriching raw coal with an incoming ash content of 15% to 2-3% parent ash thanks to a unique technology that allows maximum extraction of minerals from the total rock mass of raw materials. The whole process takes place in a closed cycle, without the use of chemicals and huge areas for water clarification pools, which in turn minimizes the impact on the environment, reduces production times and costs, ultimately affecting the cost of finished products in one way or another. unquote The full press release is available on – https://kase.kz/files/emitters/BRKZ/brkz_reliz_120521_1.pdf [2021-05-13]
