In December number of accounts of individuals involved in transactions with shares on KASE increased by 7.5 %

/KASE, January 20, 2021/ – In December 2020, the number of accounts of individuals involved in transactions with shares on Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE) has increased by 7.5 % as compared with the previous month. The percentage of individuals in the gross turnover of shares in monetary terms increased to 67.3 % from 38.1 % in November 2020. As of the end of December, there were 132,861 personal accounts opened by individuals at the Central Securities Depository (hereinafter – CD), which is by 3,594 accounts more than at the end of the previous month.
